. : LIVE RECORDING:
Our primary passion is recording live music performed in front of an audience. Owner and Head Engineer Jeff Stutzman has an array of experience working across musical styles in varied settings. He's worked with headlining national acts like the Cowboy Junkies, Ingrid Michaelson, Over the Rhine and Dave Brubeck, regional sensations Ellery and the Books, engineered recordings for the Detroit Symphony Orchestra Community Bands, and done extensive live PA for acappella groups at the University of Michigan.
This eclectic mix of experience allows Jeff to readily capture your performance, regardless of style or location, delivering exceptional results while maintaining an appropriate, low-key presence.
. : REMOTE SESSIONS:
Using the same flexible, on-site approach we can offer location sessions. This allows you to incorporate the ambiance of a desired space, be it a lush concert hall, classic cathedral or deserted factory warehouse. It's a hybrid between live and studio recording, offering the benefits of multiple takes while maintaining an open, natural feel.
